We claim hands-on testing only when it was actually performed and documented in the specific guide. If a guide does not describe a test, none should be assumed.

We do not publish a rating unless it has a real source and a stated methodology. Our current guides contain no ratings.

When a page can earn a commission, we disclose that on the page itself, before the first merchant link.
